Salt is used in tanning of leather and dying of process of garments.

FOODS INDSUSTRY: Nearly all canned and frozen foods require some salt for enhancing flavor, preserving or processing. Processing includes meat and fish packing and processing dairy products

Agricultural
uses are more than is used in foods for human consumption. Virtually all of this agricultural salt goes into animal diets, either in commercially mixed feeds or in loose or block form. are vital to the health and  production  of livestock.

 HOUSEHOLD USES
The most familiar  use of salt undoubtedly is in the kitchen and on the dining table. Salt  improves the flavor of meat, brings out individuality of vegetables,. No other seasoning has yet been found that can satisfactorily take the place of  salt.

ICE REMOVAL

 

Salt has been used widely known as a v speedy, economic and efficient as the prime agent for removing snow and ice. Spreading salt on  roads prevents snow from bonding to road surface when automobiles pack it down and, in cases of light  snow, frequently eliminates need for any plowing. In heavy snows, further application of salt, combined  with plowing, can keep the pavement clear of snow.

Others:
It also as used in most water softening systems in many cities and many factories.  It is used sometimes to stabilize soils-preparing  the earth so it will be solid and stable for roads, ponds .

In summary , we can not live with out salt with over 10,000 uses  for jst SALT!!!
